I hope you all are doing well! We've been really busy, first with Thanksgiving, and then Christmas, and then a 50th wedding anniversary celebration! Whew! I think we finally have a moment to breath, at least for a while. The picture up there was taken by Luke on Christmas day, with my new lens(!). Isn't he cute?! (Not proud at all...)

We visited "Northern" Cali a few weeks ago for Luke's grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. I was a little confused why it was called "Northern" California when on the map it's more towards the middle, well, whatever. ;) I didn't get to see the Golden Gate Bridge yet, but I'm sure someday I will. I did, however, get to see the Pacific ocean for the first time!



(Yes, I did stick my toes in.)

Luke and I went on the "17 Mile Drive" in Monterey. Wow, was that ever beautiful! I love the beaches up in Northern Cali, they are the perfect combination of rocky and beachy.



Since we got back we've just been getting back into the swing of every day, now that the holidays are over. That's included the DMV several times (PEOPLE OF DELAWARE, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!!!!) and walks and figuring out our crazy little fireplace! It's also included being excited about our land finally going through and Luke's parents' house being started! We got a little bit of snow a few days ago, and although it didn't last long, the mountains behind our house are absolutely beautiful. Our brothers are hoping for more, so they can build snowmen.

Well I'd better get going! Hopefully I'll be able to be more regular about posting, although my internet access is only occasional. Oh, and y'all can check out my photo site for more pictures!
