He's Here!

Jackson Christopher Boesch arrived Friday, September 14th, 2007 at 9:41 a.m.! He was 8 pounds, 4 ounces and 22 whole inches long! Needless to say, he's a cutie-patootie and we think we'll keep him!

Thank you to everyone who prayed for me during labor (and pregnancy). I can definitely say your prayers helped so much and were felt. :) As many of you know, we planned a home birth, and we're pretty sure that had all gone well little Jack would have arrived within 3-5 hours, but God had some other plans for him! I did end up in the hospital with a C-section, but we know it was the right thing to do and we have lots of encouragement from the doctors that any other children God chooses to bless us with can most likely be born naturally. He also blessed us with a very good experience in the hospital as far as nurses, doctors on call and care went, which I know helped so much!

Well I'd better get going, but I thought I'd leave you all with a picture or two, since I'd probably get murdered if I didn't! ;)

For the record...

A day or two ago I literally said out loud to myself, "It's a boy." I just knew...that's all. :D

And...

He looks like Luke. ;)

YAAAAAAY! :-) So happy for you all, and he is absolutely adorable.

Will you call him Jackson, or something else? (Hey, my dad goes by his middle name...)
